Understanding the locums process
All Medical Personnel Locum Tenens takes pride in providing the highest level of service to our locum tenens professionals. Our team helps Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through the entire application and placement process.
Step 1: Consultation
An All Medical locum tenens recruiter will discuss your interests, availability, and work history with you in order to understand what type of practice environment you would prefer. We will need an updated copy of your CV to represent you with our clients.
Step 2: Positions
We work with a large variety of clients, including some on an exclusive basis. Your recruiter will present you with opportunities that match your interests and experience. You will have full autonomy to decide which, if any, positions you would like more information on and/or to be presented to.
Step 3: Presentation
We won’t present you anywhere without your consent. After you approve, we will submit your CV and other required information to our client for review. Upon review of your CV by the client, we will set up a meeting to discuss additional specifics of the opportunity and to determine if it is a great match.
Step 4: Quality Assurance
Our team will work with you and the client to coordinate any remaining details and credentialing if applicable. We will assist with all paperwork and follow up to ensure that you start your assignment on time. Throughout the process, you will receive support from your recruiter and operations team to complete your application and to make the process as fast, easy, and efficient as possible.
Step 5: Placement
If all parties agree the assignment is the right fit, we will create a confirmation letter and finalize the arrangement including dates, worksite, rates and travel/lodging if applicable.
Step 6: Start
All providers are paid weekly via direct deposit. Physicians are paid as Independent Contractors (1099) and Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are paid as Employees of All Medical (W-2). We will check in with you regularly to see how you are enjoying your assignment and to discuss future locum physician job opportunities that may be of interest.
